Ron Dutton, is president of Ron Dutton Consulting Services. He provides technical services for new product development, field failure analysis and product training for the metal construction and appliance industries. Ron has 40 years of experience in the areas of metallic-coated and prepainted steel products, with a strong emphasis on 55%A1-Zn alloy coated sheet. He began his career with Bethlehem Steel Corporation and worked for them and their successor companies in various disciplines, including research, marketing, new product development and quality assurance.
Ron has served on various indutry organization groups, such as NCCA Building Products and Residential Roofing Task Forces. He chaired the North American Zinc Aluminum Coates Prepainted Building Inspection Committee and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zinc Aluminum Coaters Association. Ron holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Drexel University and Lehigh University, respectively. |
