frank-gehry-fondation-louis-vuitton-paris-designboom-03-thumbSo Frank Gehry’s “Magnificent Vessel” in Paris is almost complete. It does look impressive but it also looks like a bunch of 
crumpled up paper ready to be thrown in the trash. By no means does that mean I think it is terrible. Take a look for yourself by clicking here. The building of this structure took six years and is slated to open this fall. It is funded and called the “Fondation Louis Vuitton” and will be located in the Bois de Boulogne Park. It will house some contemporary artwork, host exhibitions, and be used as a venue to host events for meetings and even performances. Guess I am shocked we don’t see that famous “LV”print on the building.
