In today’s edition of Magnificent Metal Mondays we travel to the great city of Chicago. The Solar Canopy is an 11-foot-tall structure that uses 6,000 pounds of architecturally exposed structural steel. It’s purpose is
to harvest solar energy. The solar energy harvested is specifically used for powering electric/hybrid vehicles. This idea was used to promote sustainability initiatives in Chicago. For more information on the team behind the project see below:
