Hope everyone had a great weekend. We anticipate many of you have already begun your holiday vacations and/or travel preparations. So before the holiday week begins we want to bring you another Magnificent Metal Monday’s episode. Today we travel to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California. The building is unique
in its appearance. Some of you may know this but the architect on this project was Frank Gehry and his projects are far from the norm. An interesting fact about the building is that it had shiny, polished panels and now they are a dull matte finish. The change was required because the old panels reflected the sun onto other nearby buildings causing their air conditioning systems to overheat. The concert hall is also known for having outstanding acoustics and is known to be one of the best concert venues in the world.
