Allentown, PA – Jeffrey Allen, PE, of GR Roofing Co. Inc. in Brewer, Maine, was the winner of the ATAS Submittal Builder Contest. He was awarded an iPad which he plans to use for work to make his job easier.
“There are a lot of apps that are applicable to roofing, which I can use on the iPad. As well, when visiting a potential jobsite to work up an estimate, the camera and apps help with that, and enable me to take better notes,” said Allen.
In 2015, ATAS International Inc. added an online submittal builder to their website (www.atas.com/submittal). This new tool allows for quick and easy creation of a submittal package, and also has a feature to request panel samples or color chips from ATAS. The members of the ATAS Contractor Advisory Board had made the request for this new online tool, to make their jobs easier in assembling submittal packages for ATAS products.
Regarding his experience using the ATAS Submittal Builder, Allen stated, “The Submittal Builder works great and I was able to locate the products I needed.”
