In today’s feature of Magnificent Metal Mondays we travel to the University of Washington Medical Center Surgery Pavilion in Seattle. The building was designed through a collaborationbetween NBBJ and Keating Khang Architects. The building has some interesting features beginning with the sloped glass curtain wall and the pedestrian bridge that is also made of glass linking the pavilion to the medical center. A metal roof and a three-story white spiral staircase combines with multiple skylights to create a unique interior space filled with light. Patients rooms overlook a city park showing the natural beauty of Seattle. To learn more click her
