METALFOCUS® CONTINUES TODAY 2/25 – REGISTER NOW! EARN 1 AIA HSW LU CREDIT.

METALFOCUS®, a series of 10 one-hour safety training virtual courses to address situations unique to metal construction job sites launched last week with the first course, continues today. Participant Christopher Teague with GarVin Construction Inc. shared the following testimonial after taking the first course last week:

“I believe there is a lot of misconception about the 15’ rule and CDZ’s. While all of us here have had lots of fall protection training over the years there seems to be very few instructors that understand the requirements for steel erectors. Plus we run in to a lot of GC’s that override those rules with stricter ones. So, I found this information to be useful and clear up a lot of old habits we have. So this was interesting to me to be reminded again in a meaningful way. Look forward to the upcoming zooms.”

The METALFOCUS® Safety Program, in partnership with SafetyWorks, was created out of METALCON’s commitment to help metal businesses thrive. SafetyWorks, a leader in providing occupational safety training, has been delivering professional safety know-how to construction and manufacturing clients since 1999, focused on OSHA-related safety training, safety program management, and consultation services.

You won’t find a similar program out there, especially for the cost. Whether you attend this program yourself or delegate to a team member, your company will gain invaluable insight and advice with the potential to:

  • Reduce risk of lost-time accidents and damage to equipment which can lead to lower insurance premiums
  • Lower risk of regulatory fines
  • Improve your company culture and employee morale
