Last month, METALCON continued its long-standing tradition of giving back to its host city by proudly presenting a check in the total of $5,000 to Feeding Tampa Bay. While the fundraising campaign started a couple of months before the show, donations were taken on-site at registration and METALCON’s show booth, The Deck. To add to the excitement, for a minimum $20 donation, individuals were entered into a daily raffle for a chance to win prizes including a top-of-the-line fishing rod and reel autographed by Keith Colburn, keynote speaker and star of the TV show The Deadliest Catch, an extra large YETI cooler and a show registration and hotel package for METALCON 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

METALCON thanks its metal construction community for reaching into their pockets to help achieve our fundraising goal and be able to help positively impact Tampa, a city that has regularly played host to the show.
“We are delighted to have chosen Feeding Tampa Bay for our Give Back campaign this year,” said METALCON Show Director, Judy Geller. “It has been METALCON’S tradition to give back locally to the community kind enough to host us. This year, we thought it was really important to reach out to those who may not have a meal on the table every night so we teamed up with Feeding Tampa Bay.”
