Buying MCM: What the Industry Has In Store For You
Buying MCM: What the Industry Has In Store For You

Metal Composite Materials are an ever-developing product category in the world of metal construction materials.  Often, they can be seen as confusing.  Join leaders of the metal composite materials (MCM) industry as they de-mystify the world of MCM.

Discover everything from what’s new and coming soon in the product category, MCM specific codes and how the code requirements can be met, and high tech finishes currently available.  The panel will discuss how these products address ASTM fire codes (including the upcoming ASTM E-84).

Learn about the current and future MCM systems available in the market including how they can be added into rainscreens, and the importance of MCM Fabricator Certification.

Learning Objectives:

  • Find out which building codes affect metal composite materials
  • How metal composite materials react in fire testing and how mcm materials can affect the combustibility of a building
  • Learn how various high-tech finishes affect a metal composite material wall system
  • Discover various MCM wall systems and how they integrate into a building
