Incorporating Metal in Your Company’s Sustainability Strategy

One of the primary elements of corporate responsibility is ESG (Environment, Social and Governance).  ESG policies drive companies not only to reduce greenhouse gases and carbon footprints, but also to reduce waste in all aspects of their businesses, and to use their influence on the value chain to conduct business ethically and improve the way customers and employees are treated.

In this session, our panel of speakers will discuss how companies are successfully implementing ESG strategies and how metal is the ultimate solution to aligning with certain aspects of ESG philosophies because of its extended service life, low consumption of natural resources for production, zero- petroleum by-products and recyclable properties. We’ll also cover how renewable energy, including solar, helps achieve carbon and greenhouse gas goals. This panel presentation includes speakers who encompass a variety of companies throughout the supply chain. Together, they will help position your company for the future by incorporating metal construction, metal roofs, and rooftop solar in your company’s ESG strategy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how implementing an ESG strategy aligns with the metal construction industry
  • Learn how companies are implementing sustainability and ESG strategies
  • Understand how steel production is driving towards reducing its carbon footprint and reducing harmful byproducts
  • Discover how metal construction and metal roofing are the best platforms for renewable energy to drive sustainability.

This session is FREE to attend and will be located in the Sustainability Learning Center located inside the Exhibit Hall. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and space is limited.
