Graduated in May 2016 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Material Science & Engineering. After graduation, I started working full time at Vertera Spine as a Development Engineer.
During my time at Georgia Tech, I completed two semesters as an R&D Co-Op at MedShape, a medical device start-up specializing in orthopedics. I also completed two semesters at Solvay as a Technical Marketing Co-Op. Through these two opportunities, I gained experience in manufacturing, operations, design verification testing, mechanical testing, quality control, customer service, and polymer processing.
While at Georgia Tech, I served as a member of the Material Science & Engineering Undergraduate Advisory Council, Secretary and Treasurer of the Briaerean Honor Society (co-op honor society), new student orientation leader, House Manager of Alpha Delta Chi Sorority, and a Diamond Girl for Georgia Tech Baseball.
