Carbon-Core’s SphereCel CondensBlock is a top quality intumescent material used to address the accumulation of condensation inside of non insulated structures. This keeps the interior dry and moisture free, stopping drips of condensation with the added benefit of being a Class A Fire retardant. Additionally, CondensBlock is mold and mildew resistant, helps prevent corrosion of the roof, and can be used in a variety of applications. Factory applied to roof panels, lightweight CondensBlock® offers an economical solution to prevent problems caused by condensation in metal buildings and roof systems used in agricultural, industrial and commercial buildings.
Ideal for new installations or retrofits, CondensBlock employs technologically advanced layers of synthetic, nonwoven fleece, with unique Thermoplastic Microspheres, to absorb and store condensed water vapor, thereby managing/regulating interior humidity. Once the appropriate temperature and ventilation conditions return, moisture retained by CondensBlock will once again evaporate into the ambient interior air through convection.
